Due to the recent growth, we are looking for a Pharmaceutical Development Formulation (m/f) for our Sintra facilities.

The work in PD department includes performing literature review on the matter that a research is going on, followed by lab experiments to support the findings that could be coupled with generating stability data. This can be followed by executing scale up work in a pilot area. The final destination of this work is being able to transfer the lab experience to have full successful production scale. Moreover, optimization and fine tuning of the production processes is also part of this role for continuous improvement in production.

 
Job description/Main Responsibilities:

Design experiments based on the Quality by Design (QbD) principles
Follow the documentation system and the capability to adhere to the cGLP and cGMP
Contribute in finding the solutions and providing ideas to tackle the issues in concern
Need to be able to run instruments and maintain them in good conditions after receiving the proper training
Help in setting up SOP’s for the different instruments and laboratory operations
Monitor the work in production area upon transferring the experience from the lab scale
Coordinating and interacting with different departments in the facility to arrange and agree on the work plan
Decide on timelines based on the required workload and ability to follow up on the assigned tasks
Provide the documentation support for new products evaluation and registration process in new markets or for maintenance of the existing ones

Qualification/Experience:

MSc Degree in Pharmacy; Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Engineering, or any other related fields.
An experience (in R&D or other related departments) is considered a plus, yet fresh graduates are considered too
